Flight Wine Shop

Flight Wine Shop is a first-generation tenant fit-out within a mixed-use high-rise in Crystal City, conceived as both a retail destination and a community gathering space. Inspired by the owners’ passion for wine, the design creates a warm and approachable environment that welcomes seasoned enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike. Beyond retail, the shop serves as a hub for wine education and discovery, hosting curated tastings, classes, and events led by an experienced sommelier. Thoughtful material selections, intimate gathering spaces, and a refined yet accessible atmosphere support a shared appreciation for wine, learning, and community.

The design emphasizes communal dining and shared experiences, utilizing warm woods and textured finishes to cultivate intimacy and warmth. This aesthetic choice encourages guests to gather around beautifully crafted dining tables, fostering a sense of connection.

The main space is designed around the large tasting area which sits beneath the "chandelier" of suspended lights.  The shopping experience is moved to the perimeter where guests can find their selection on a mix of low shelves, refrigerators, and the main display wall.
